More than almost any other accessory, the Stetson hat stands for the American Dream. But what would a cowboy be without his Kentucky Straight Bourbon?
Stetson is one of the best-known hat brands in the world and, in addition to unconditional quality, impresses with an unmistakable lifestyle. The authentic embedding of a genuine Kentucky Straight Bourbon in this brand world was an exciting task and required extensive brand and market analysis in Germany and the USA.
A good whiskey needs a strong name and an exciting story. That's why we have placed John B. Stetson, the inventor of the world-famous hats, at the forefront of the packaging. His famous quote “Make things right and the best they can be” forms the basis of the brand image and embodies the high-quality character of the whiskey.
John B. Stetson is the main sender of this whiskey. We therefore had to dynamically adapt the Stetson umbrella logo for the branding. The authentic merging of the brand lockup “John. B. Stetson Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey” into a visual unit was an essential design requirement. The slight bend in the Stetson lettering enables the compact arrangement while still retaining the recognition of the Stetson umbrella brand.
The authentic reproduction of the Stetson brand world was our top priority.
The key product features were defined step by step using concept scribbles.
The interplay of the individual bottle with embossing, the neck hanger with leather strap and the labels with special die-cutting create a well-rounded overall concept.

This included various POS solutions, print and digital ads, the landing page and the planning and implementation of the trade fair appearance.
