Here’s another edition of my Iconic Brand Positioning series: Levi’s – The Original Jeans.
Levi’s is more than denim. It is one of the oldest fashion brands in history, built on functional heritage from the Gold Rush era and transformed over time into a cultural symbol of authenticity and self‑expression.
This positioning worked because Levi’s stayed true to its roots. The red tab, the rivets, the 501 model and the very idea of denim as a statement were never afterthoughts, they were the foundation.

Levi’s didn’t chase trends. It became a timeless reference point.
